HOW TO INSTALL SPAMSCAN PLUGIN FOR CPANEL WHM

What is SpamScan

SpamScan is a server plugin that analyzes and report on status of server IP against over 20 major spam blacklisting services, DNS Relay Blackhole List , RBL.

Server Requirements

cuRL

ioncube all available through EasyApache

WHM/Cpanel from versiom 11.34+

PHP 5.2+

How Much is the SpamScan

SpamScan is license at $5 at Cloudpap, however is available for free for every Dedicated Server License issued.

How to Install SpamScan plugin

Download the SpamScan Plugin from here https://www.cloudpap.com/download/spamscan/

Upload the downloaded SpamScan file to the server (any folder) via FTP or SFTP

To untar /extract the file Run tar xvfz spamscan*.tar.

Browser to the extracted directory by running cd spamscan

Change file attributes by running the following chmod 755 uninstall.sh install.sh addon_spam* spamscan*

Run the Installation ./install.sh

Installation will prompt you for a the license key

Enter the SpamScan license key as provided – the installation will progress.

Well done, you have successfully installed SpamScan

Go to Plugins and Click on SpamScan

The Plugin will require a license key for activation – Activation Key will look like “SC-9449aa99aaa889a”

Unistall of SpamScan

To Unistall just run the uninstallation script /uninstall.sh

How to use SpamScan

Overview – A tab that allows you checking of RBL status for the IP registered on your server.

Settings – A tab that allows your to choose if an IP will be Scanned by RBL Scanner. Under Settings as well allows display of an IP status to the cpanel users (website owners) – to show that the IP are free from Spam

License – Under License Tab allow change of License Key of the SpamScan Plugin.
